Change

Seasons change, the years change, people change, jobs change, life is full of changes. But one constant in a changing world is God. God doesn’t change and God’s word doesn’t change. This year has been full of changes for me and my family. I pray that the rest of the year contains only good changes. Why do things change. Maybe change is a way to teach us patience. Something that I lack and most of the world lacks as well. If you think you have plenty of patience go to Walmart on Christmas eve or the day before Christmas eve. That’ll show you who does and doesn’t have patience. Maybe change keeps us involved and keeps us from being bored. Change keeps us humble. Change helps us to become a better person, a better version of ourselves. Change keeps life interesting. Change can be easy, it can be hard. It can be a good thing, a happy thing or a sad thing. It can be a necessary change or a just because. It keeps us striving for more and better and prevents us from just being comfortable with what is. There is a time for everything and a purpose. Changing from your old path can bring you to a newer happier, healthier path. What do you think is the reason for change?
